Start here If someone is missing now

Report first. Record the numbers. Preserve the evidence.

There is no 24-hour waiting rule. Contact local law enforcement immediately and ask for both the agency case number and confirmation of entry in the FBI's NCIC missing-person file. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
