Our network has been submitting Freedom of Information Act (for federal agencies) and Freedom of Information/Public Records Requests for more than 30 years (short-hand for both, "FOI/A.") By now this accounts for hundreds of requests.

Need to Share News continues to seek interesting and important records via FOI/A and share them here and in other locations. In coming months we intend to launch a national crowd-sourcing project involving members of our network submitting requests involving records, including local records, of common interest.
